Multiple-Entry Schengen Visa from Dubai

A multiple-entry Schengen visa lets you travel to Europe again and again on one visa. Here is who qualifies, how the 90/180 rule works, and how to improve your chances.

A multiple-entry Schengen visa (MEV) allows you to enter and leave the Schengen Area several times within its validity, rather than just once. For frequent travellers — business, family or leisure — it saves the time and cost of applying again and again.

Single-entry vs multiple-entry

The 90/180 rule

Even with a multiple-entry visa, you can only stay in the Schengen Area for a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period. The visa may be valid for 1, 3 or 5 years, but the 90-day limit still applies to each 180-day window. It controls how long you stay, not how many times you enter.

Long-validity MEVs (1–5 years) are usually granted to applicants with a strong travel history — several previous Schengen visas used correctly, with no overstays.

Who qualifies for a multiple-entry visa?

First-time applicants are more likely to receive a single-entry visa matching their trip dates. Building a good travel record is the path to longer multiple-entry visas over time.

Aiming for a long-validity Schengen visa?

We help you present your travel history and documents in the strongest way to support a multiple-entry application.

Frequently asked questions

How long can I stay on a multiple-entry Schengen visa?

A maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period, regardless of how long the visa is valid or how many times you enter.

Can I get a 5-year Schengen visa from Dubai?

Long-validity visas (up to 5 years) are possible but usually granted to applicants with a strong record of correctly used previous Schengen visas.

Will a first-time applicant get a multiple-entry visa?

Does multiple-entry mean unlimited stay?

No. It means unlimited entries during validity, but the 90/180-day stay limit always applies.
